Each design offers more than an exquisite pattern, telling a story through Maggie’s hand-drawn silhouettes. Colour is introduced with the addition of either watercolour, gouache, ink and sometimes charcoal. One design might transport admirers to a landscape of lush and beautiful trees with the Southern Cross constellation above, while another motif depicts an enchanting woodland space inspired by Aotearoa’s One Tree Hill.
